🧯October is Fire Prevention Month! 🔥🚒 We have wonderful partnerships with our Community Helpers! It is so nice for Kindergarten students to see how helpful these fire fighters can be! (Part 1/2)

✨ Today was a great reminder of how thankful we are to be Pirates and what it means to be #HannibalProud. ❤️ 🏴‍☠️

We are grateful to the Hannibal Fire Department, Hannibal Police Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Veterans Elementary staff, Hannibal High School staff, our Transportation Department, Liberty Utilities, and our families for the teamwork and support that kept our students safe.

Veterans Elementary will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow, Thursday, October 2, 2025. The gas line has been repaired, and the building is safe.

Student Leadership applications are due tomorrow. Please have your child fill the application out in its entirety as there are specific directions to number the positions desired. Thank you!

Veterans' Picture Day is Thursday, September 25! All orders are done online. This form will be sent home with your child tomorrow.

Our PTO annual Fundraiser has kicked off! Your child should have brought home a packet of information last week. The Fundraiser runs through Thursday, September 18. We appreciate your support as all proceeds go to creating memorable events for our Veterans' families!

🍎 What a great first day at Veterans Elementary! Students spent time meeting new friends and learning classroom expectations—it’s going to be a wonderful year. 🖤❤ #HannibalProud

The 1st day of school is almost here! Our doors open at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast service begins at 7:40 a.m. The tardy bell is at 8:30, but please strive for your children to arrive closer to 8:10 a.m. so they can take part in soft starts in the classrooms. We do ask for your patience with bussing as well as car dismissal these first few days. Breakfast & lunch menus for the upcoming month are attached here for your viewing. We can't wait to see everyone!
