🍎 What a great first day at Veterans Elementary! Students spent time meeting new friends and learning classroom expectations—it’s going to be a wonderful year. 🖤❤ #HannibalProud

The 1st day of school is almost here! Our doors open at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast service begins at 7:40 a.m. The tardy bell is at 8:30, but please strive for your children to arrive closer to 8:10 a.m. so they can take part in soft starts in the classrooms. We do ask for your patience with bussing as well as car dismissal these first few days. Breakfast & lunch menus for the upcoming month are attached here for your viewing. We can't wait to see everyone!

Want more Book Fair? No problem! Keep the party going online. All book purchases over $35 ship free and every purchase benefits our school!

More fun for Mrs. Lehman's class - birds and emergency vehicles!

Ms. Blaine’s 1st grade campers enjoyed a visit from Bella the bunny, learned about animal tracks, had a visit from Coach Anderson and his bees, and ended Thursday with guests teaching us about fishing!

Puppy play date in Mrs. Lehman’s class during Summer School! 🐶

More exciting Summer School experiences! Do you recognize these famous book characters?

Dogs are a great friend!

Ms. Blaine’s 1st grade campers made solar s’mores, read books around the campfire and fished out words at the fishing hole this week. They also enjoyed learning about earthworms and recess with new friends!

In library, students listened to the story, "Yes Day!" where every child's request is followed by YES. Students made a comic strip for their ideal YES Day. Then students listened to "Food Truck Fest," talked about different local festivals & designed their own food truck & menu.

Legacy Martial Arts shared their expertise today with Summer School students!
