Principal: Brooke Kelly

Welcome to Veterans Elementary! I'm Brooke Kelly and I am proud to be a part of the Veterans Elementary team serving as principal.  

This begins my 13th year as principal at  Veterans and my twenty-sixth year in education. Prior to Veterans, I served as Assistant Principal at Hannibal Middle school.  I began as a special education teacher at the elementary level.   I received my undergraduate from Northwest Missouri State University and my Masters of Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University. Most recently, I completed a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Williams Woods University.   

I look forward to continuing to serve the Veterans community as well as the larger Pirate family!  I look forward to working with each of you and your children.  

Assistant Principal: Richard Pugh

Welcome to Veterans Elementary!  My name is Richard Pugh, and I am eager and elated to be working with your students!

This is my 4th year as assistant principal at Veterans Elementary.  I have been an administrator for 14 years.  I have worked with students at the residential, public school, and community college level as a counselor, teacher, administrator, and a GED instructor.  I received my undergraduate degree at Culver-Stockton College and my Masters in special education from Quincy University.  I also received certifications in school administration and director of special education from Quincy University.

I am looking forward to working with the Veterans community and the entire Pirate Family!
