📕📗📘📙Shop tonight during our Winter Wonderland Family Night! Books make great gifts!! ❄️❄️❄️ Due to the weather, the book fair will now run until next Friday, December 12, 2025. This extension ensures that everyone has the opportunity to shop at the fair. We will be open in the mornings from 7:30 to 8::30 with an adult present. Your students will also have the chance to shop during their regularly scheduled library times. Thank you for supporting our school book fair!

This is just around the corner! The 5th grade Program will be December 18th at 6 pm. All 5th graders. Music group, and Bucketeers will be performing.

Our Veterans' community is sending out a HUGE shout out to Mr. Greening and the HCTC team that made our wish for a new playground a reality! Extended thank you to Mr. Borgmeyer and the entire maintenance department for their hard work and assistance! Our students love their new equipment!

At these parent teacher conferences, the AMI learning materials (Alternate Method of Instruction) were sent home. These are the snow days where we get to learn at home. ❄️❄️❄️Please keep these in a safe place until they are needed. ❄️❄️❄️ If you were unable to meet up with your child’s teacher, please reach out on Class Dojo so we can share your child’s progress. Thank you for your support! We love working as a team to see your child reach their full potential!

We try to go outside for fresh air at recess every day when the temps allow. Please send a coat, hat and gloves every day. Thank you!

🧯October is Fire Prevention Month! 🔥🚒 We have wonderful partnerships with our Community Helpers! It is so nice for Kindergarten students to see how helpful these fire fighters can be! (Part 1/2)

✨ Today was a great reminder of how thankful we are to be Pirates and what it means to be #HannibalProud. ❤️ 🏴‍☠️

We are grateful to the Hannibal Fire Department, Hannibal Police Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Veterans Elementary staff, Hannibal High School staff, our Transportation Department, Liberty Utilities, and our families for the teamwork and support that kept our students safe.

Veterans Elementary will operate on a normal schedule tomorrow, Thursday, October 2, 2025. The gas line has been repaired, and the building is safe.
